Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals

Welcome to this months Ink. Stamp. Share monthly Blog Hop we our a
group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world
sharing card making and papercraft ideas and inspiration using
Stampin' Up! Products. Your currently with me Laura Mackie a
Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the UK.

Each month we host a hop with a theme and this months theme is
to share what we have been making, I'm sharing a card and
gift bag I made recently for my mums 65th Birthday
using the Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals Stamp set to
make her card and matching gift bag

Stampin' Up! Hand-Penned Petals

I made a gate fold card using Fresh Freesia
cardstock to create the card base,

I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock for the front and
inside of my card which I stamped with using the
Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, I stamped in Black memento
ink and then used the following colours to stamp again and
add colour to the Stamped images, The stamp set is known as a two step
stamp set, so you stamp the outline image and then you stamp
again with matching stamps to colour the image in.

Inks used:

Fresh Freesia, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent,
Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo.

the Sentiment is stamped in Fresh Fresia and
Black memento ink with the Biggest Wish Stamp set.

I also made a matching gift bag too, using
two sheets of basic white cardstock and
Fresh Fresia Cardstock

Here is the tag I made for the gift bag

I've used the Fresh Freesia Open weave ribbon to create
the handles for the gift bag, which also matched the
ribbon on the card and tag!

Inside the gift bag is a few gifts but one
being the decorated Scalloped treat box which was
the perfect size to hold a piece of jewellery,

I made the rolled flower from Fresh Fresia cardstock
with a simple stamped tag, using the Tailor made Tags,
and again more of the open weave ribbon again in
fresh freshia and Pale Papaya.

I added a few Matte Black dots on the Card, Tag
and Gift box to finish off everything, I love these
black dots their simple but subtly coordinated
with the outline stamped image and sentiment.
