2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop - Colour Challenge

Welcome to our 2018 Kre8tors blog hop, I'm Laura Mackie and I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Norfolk in the United Kingdom... This blog hop is made up of lots of talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world, so sit back and relax and enjoy hopping around the world from the comfort of your own home! or where ever you choose....

This month our theme is a colour challenge!

Here is my take....

its a fancy fold card, Double Z fold I think it would be called???

to make the card base you need a sheet of A4 card stock, Cut it in half length ways down the middle at 10.5cm, then score 1 piece at 14.9cm and 25cm, this is your base, the little piece on one end of your cardbase you need to add another piece of cardstock onto it to measure 10cm x 10.5cm to create what is the front,

with the other piece of cardstock trim it down to 8cm, and score landscape at 10cm and 20cm

I decorated the base, then added my fancy fold bit on, the continued to decorate my card....

My butterfly was die cut using the Stampin' Up! Butterflies Thinlits, I've cut it with watercolour paper then using an Aqua Painter to colour up my butterfly, Ive used Berry Burst, Pumpkin pie and Powder pink, once I was happy with the colour I let him dry then added the gold glitter flakes, Id not used them before... but I couldn't resist adding the bling!!! its quite a out there card for me but I love how it turned out

The flowers and leaves are from The Blooms and Wishes stamp set,
each stamped and then hand cut out,

I hope you like my card, and I've inspired you to go get crafty, once you've finished the hop of course you next hop is over to the talented Kathy click the NEXT button below to visit her blog.. enjoy
