Gift Bag Tutorial using 12x12 Paper

Welcome to this months Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop we our a 
group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world
sharing card making and papercraft ideas and inspiration using 
Stampin' Up! Products.

This months blog theme is Christmas now I'm all 
done with making my christmas cards as I'm sure most of you are??
So I thought what does every crafter need ideas and help with 
this close to Christmas and I thought gift Packaging so I've revisited 
one of my own videos from a couple of years back, making 
gift bags with 2 sheets of 12x12 DSP we all need 
cute gift packaging ideas right now!

The Stampin' Up! Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series
Paper is my favourite this year, I've lost count of how many 
packs I've used, Its classic, its classy and its simply 
a great all rounder for every recipient, 
the colours included are totally traditional Christmas 
which is right up my street!

Christmas Gift Bag

Stampin' Up! Colours are
Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and 
Whisper White, designs in the Pack 
include a gingham, a stripe 
Polka Dots, a dogstooth, diagonal stripe....


what you will need:

2 x 12"x12" sheets of DSP which match!
I've used the Heart Warming Hugs DSP from Stampin' Up!

Ribbon, 2 x 30cm for handles, 50cm for bow closure.

Stampin' Trimmer and or a Scoreboard, 

Scissors and adhesive
Punch to punch ribbon holes!

Measurements:

score them both the same

In Inches:

Score at 3" and 11.5" then turn 
and score at 1", 9.5"

and also measurements in CM's

Score at 7.5cm and 29cm, 
turn and score at 2.5cm and 24cm


The base of the gift bag is reinforced with a 
piece of cardstock measuring
1 @ 7.4cm x 21.5cm
