Ink & Share Blog Hop Occasions Catalogue

Welcome to this months Ink & Share blog hop, this hop is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world, I'm Laura Mackie and I'm a demonstrator from the UK, this month our hop features Stamps & products from the Spring / Summer Occasions Catalogue... these products some maybe retiring but some maybe carrying over to the main annual Catalogue which goes live in June... 

I choose to use Southern Serenade... I fell in love with this stamp set straight away when I saw it.. I love the sentiments and their font.... but I just love those flowers, I knew I could colour them with my Stampin Blends, Watercolour pencils or like I have today with ink and a blender pen, isn't the lace-y background stunning??

here is my card..

I've used Berry Burst Cardstock and matching ink to colour in my flowers... 

I stamped everything on to my whisper white background then die cut the oval out... and then mounted the oval onto a scalloped oval...

I coloured the flowers using the ink from the inside of my ink pad lid with a blender pen.. I wasn't too careful with my colouring, too build up the depth of colour, I coloured the area then left the area to dry and kept going back over it to add more colour until I had the colour I wanted.... this way my cardstock didn't pulp up from over working it too quick which happens a lot for me as I'm an impatient crafter!! 

The stems and leaves are coloured in the same way but with Old Olive ink..

On Stage Display Stamper Blog Hop

Recently I had the honour of being a display stamper at a recent Demonstrator exclusive event called On Stage..

Stampin' Up! sent me and other display stampers a bundle of brand new goodies from the up and coming New Annual Catalogue.. and our task was to create a selection of 20 projects! which would then wb on display at the event, Today us Display Stampers are sharing with you some or all of what we made...

I decided to share with you my projects using the Sitting Pretty stamp set, which is available with matching framelits, and features a cute little bulldog!

Stamp 'N Hop Blog hop Retiring products

Welcome to our Stamp 'n Hop Blog hop..

Hi!! I'm Laura Mackie from Norfolk in the United Kingdom and this month we our sharing products and/or Stamps retiring from the Annual or Spring/Summer Catalogue, this is such a bitter sweet time for us Stampin' Up! lovers, saying goodbye to some of our most favourite products yet the excitement or new products to come.. if you see anything you love! When deciding what stamp set to use I decided to share with you a card

I made for my Stampin' Blends Club which I held today, this card is made using the adorable

but retiring Garden Girl Stamp set...

Here's my project... I made the card look pretty plain on the out side....

I also included some variations of how to colour her for my ladies....
