Create a 'Ice Cream'

Hi Crafters.... hows your week going??? mines flying by and more quickly than normal! but im secretly pleased as i go on holiday soon :)

Each week i right a list of challenge blogs and their challenges and tick them off as i do them, this way i dont miss out, although this week i missed the closing dates on a couple :( boooo hooo... next week i will try to get them made and posted in time i promise (myself).

The card im posting today is to play along with a challenge over at Less is More... its a colour challenge and wow these colours made me feel hungry seeing them donuts made me think cupcakes - so i reached for my and dusted off my Create a cupcake stamp set, but then i thought cupcake hmmmm i remember making ice creams with this set combined with my Pennant Parade set..... take a look...

After playing with these sets I cant believe Ive let them gathered soooo much dust!! Im sure you have a Stamp set or too like that too...

you still have time to play along too ... click on the pic below to go to Less is More Blog...

Heres a closer look at my card.. This card is making me feel so summery :)

notice the pink bakers twine... Stampin up dont currently do pink piroutte bakers twine... so i coloured my white twine with my Pink Pirouette SU marker... to combine with my colour combination..

Ive also used some dazzling diamonds to add some sparkle to one of my ice creams... with a flower from the Itty Bitty punch set, finished with a pearl..

These 2 stamp sets are great and so versatile such value for money as usual from stampin up... from Cupcakes to Handbags to bunting to christmas Trees to flags.. the list goes on...

What ive used:
Stamp sets - Create a cupcake and Pennant Parade
Card Stock - Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, pretty in pink and Crumb cake
Ink - Pink pirouette, Pretty in pink, Sahara Sand and Crumb cake
Punched - Itty Bitty
Accessories - White bakers Twine, Subtles Buttons and dazzling diamonds
