Easter Treat Basket

Today im sharing with you a little cute Easter Treat Basket… I found the idea from a fellow US Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator,  Brandy had made a little Valentine Treat bag.. when i came across it straight away i thought this would make a cute Easter basket…
Isnt it cute… perfect little class friend gifts, for neighbours or family.. Ive filled mine with little hollow chocolate bunnies from Aldi, although they would look just as cute filled with little bags of mini eggs...
The great thing is you can get the children helping you make these too… they will just love making the chick and punching out all the flowers…..
To make the little basket ive used the Scallop square bigz clear die (115950 @ £18.95)

Ive run the scallop square through the big shot using the square lattice embossing folder (119976 @ £7.50

Ive then scored the square @ 1.5” and 2 3/4” then turned the square 90 degrees and scored again at 1” and 3 1/4”
Snip on the score lined on the smaller score lines on opposites sides
glue sides together as below…
Ive then added a handle measuring 16cm x 1cm, Ive added this to the sides of my basket with 3/6” metallic brads available from Stampin’ up for £5.75 for 120 brads
My grass is cut from a piece of Lucky Limeade card stock measuring 6cm x 3cm snipping into the card at angles randomly…
Ive added a cute little chic made with the Bird Builder Punch (instructions to follow on how to make the chick) again from Stampin Up!, (117191 @ £15.50, his little wing is made from the heart punch, ive punched him from so saffron card stock, and then inked the edges in Daffodil delight, coloured his eyes nose and feet with my Early Espresso SU marker…
The little flower heads are from punched from Pretty in pink, melon mambo and so Daffodil delight Card stock using one of the Flowers from the Itty Bitty 3 punch pack (118309 @ £15.50)
ive added the flowers to my handle too…. with Rhinestone basic jewel self adhesives added to the centres… i do love abit of sparkle….
