Back to Monday again and another Make my Monday Challenge, this week we would like to see ‘Childhood memories’ now i did hum and har! at this I have lots of Childhood Memories – Sewing as a child with my great Grandmother, my Uncle trapping my finger in a Tractor door – not a great one i know lol… Moving from a little Village called Denton to Lakenheath when i was 7, learning to ride my bike.. But my favorite memory has to be Christmas the one time all out Familt would get together – both my Grandparents would come and stay the night, My mum and dad would sleep in my room, I would then have to sleep on the floor – and altough it was all crazy it was such fun…. so my card this week is a Christmas Card -
A Christmas Tree with presents – as our tree was always always brimming with masses of presents…
Ive used my old faithful ‘Lovely as a Tree’ Stamp set with a New Stamp set – Wishing You (131751 @ £9.95) Ive inked the present stamp with my SU Markers allowing me to colour the presents different colours.
I’m really into my bakers twine at the moment and have finished my card with Cherry Cobbler Twine to coordinate with my sentiment and presents.. Bakers twine is so effective and great value - £2.50 for 22.9mtrs..
What Ive Used:
Stamps – Lovely as a Tree and Wishing You
Card Stock – Naturals Cream
Ink – Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive
Embellishments – Cherry Cobbler Bakers twine, Rhinestones..
