2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop Sale-a-Bration

Welcome to the second instalment of our 2018 Kre8tors Blog hop this months theme is Sale-a-Bration

I'm Laura Mackie and I'm from Norfolk in the United Kingdom. Today our blog hop is all about the current Sale-a-Bration promotion and we are sharing Ideas and Inspiration using the Free products you can earn with a qualifying order of £45 or £90 order. Sale-a-Bration promotion runs from now until the 31st March

Would you believe it when I tell you everything I'm sharing today was made today! this morning in fact!... well it really was I had crafters block! I couldn't decide what Sale-a-Bration stamp set or what to use... We had a date night last night and yesterday we cut a whole in a wall for a door! the mess was unreal and there was no way I could sneak off to my happy place to craft! sigh! this morning I was up and straight in and thankfully this came to mind and fell in to place...

I've used the at a first glance NA!!! stamp set Hearftelt Blooms, this stamp set I disregarded straight away.. then after seeing some stunning makes I knew I 'needed' it! Monica Gale shared a gorgeous card last week colouring in the flowers with our Stampin' Blends and it was actually so quick so I had a go and loved how my card turned out - apart from my not so straight sentiment!!! hate it when that happens but that's my fault for leaving things so late

The flowers are coloured using the 3 dark shades only in Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry, it really is so quick to achieve and doesn't it look like they take agessssss to colour!!

The little gift bag I made was super quick to create and is a really great size

The measurements for my gift bag are full A4 sheet of card stock

Score landscape at 2", 5.5", 7.5" and 11"
or 5cm, 14cm, 19cm and 28cm

then score portrait at 2" or 5cm

cut away as below and bone folder score lines

I've used Rich Razzleberry ink on to Rich Razzleberry cardstock, randomly
stamping and filling the page to create my gift bag

the lid / top measures 9cm x 12cm score in half at 6cm on long edge or
3.5" x 5" score in half at 2.5" on long edge

I added two little slits with my craft knife to insert my ribbon handle, I then adhered this to the back of my gift bag
I added a Velcro dot fastener inside the lid to hold the lid closed,

The sentiment is stamped and die cut with my oval framelits and stitched framelits

I do hope you've liked what I've shared with you today and I've inspired you to go get inky and creative don't forget to hop on over too the talented Tricia Butts
