Welcome to this months Ink. Stamp. Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world sharing ideas and inspiration using Stampin' Up! products, this month our theme is Christmas - whether a card of 3d project, I thought I would share with you a recent project I made for my Christmas Crafternoon Tea event which I held last week...
The wooden log slice is coated with gesso to start with, I gave mine 2 coats.
then I added some Pool Party on a sponge, I stamped each snowman twice, one of each onto the log directly then again one of each on to some Whisper White cardstock.
I stamped the greeting directly onto my log too, I used stazon and Memento ink.
below the sponged area, along the bottom of my log I added Stampin' Glitter
adhered with tombo adhesive.
I hand cut or punched out each snowman, and coloured them with my stampin blends, and then added dimensionals on the backs to then adhere them onto the log,
I die cut lots of foliage and snowflakes to finish off, plus some
holly sprigs again coloured with my Stampin' Blends,
I've listed everything I've used below.
Everyone loved making this cute piece,
I hope I've inspired you today and that you'll
experiment stamping on other materials too.
