Heres what I came up with
When I saw this photo I instantly thought holiday,
I was thinking evening stroll on a beach, sea,
Palm Trees and warm sunshine!
I blame the yukky wet weather on my wild imagination
right now! we've been having lots of lots of rain here in the UK
oh and covid 19 and lockdown!
anyone else blaming C'19 for EVERYTHING!
I used the My Meadow Stamp set from Stampin' Up!
to stamp the images, in black memento ink,
I have tried to create a silhouette look!
To create my sunset background I used a combination
of Sponges and daubers with So Saffron, Rococo Rose
and Misty Moonlight with a hint of Night of Navy
all sponged onto Whisper White cardstock
I created a Landscape and portrait version of the card,
not sure which I prefer? which one do you prefer??
let me know in the comments.
I made a quick video sharing how
I made my card
card measurements
Card base 21cm x 14.85cm score in half at 10.5cm
Whisper White layer 14.4cm x 10cm
Whisper white layer 13.9cm x 9.5cm
The Sentiments are both from the Stampin' Up! Lovely You
Stamp set, both stamped in memento black ink.
I hope I've inspired you today, I now pass you over to Michelle Bryant
