Crafternoon Tea Event - Papercrafting and Card making
with Stampin' Up! products.
Over the weekend I held my Crafternoon Tea event -
Due to you guessed it Covid 19 it was a virtual event held via Zoom
its not the same as an in person event for sure,
but we held the event on zoom so it was lovely to see everyone's faces.
The event was so much fun,
The morning began, with me setting up two tables at my home
with all the kits, emptying my fridge.
hand sanitizer and a list of the collections
and the deliveries I had to make
The Afternoon Teas were delivered and put straight into
my fridge, I had already set up 2 cool boxes and had them
powered up so they were lovely and cold ready for my deliveries.
A local lady who runs a Baking business made the Yummy
Afternoon Teas, which she provided in lovely presented boxes,
we had 2 tables set up, so that we could follow strictly
the 2mtr social distancing measures currently in place in the UK
I left my other half here under strict instructions, as me and
my young (4) year old daughter went off to make the deliveries.
Cool Boxes loaded and car loaded with the Craftt Kits off we went.
It was lovely to see some of my ladies
faces 'social distanced' of course!
Then at 2pm we all joined together via Zoom
we crafted (i will share what we made later this week)
then we ate our yummy afternoon Teas, we
crafted a little more, finishing around 5pm.
The event was perfect and better than i could of ever
imagined! At least now i know
worse case Novembers Christmas Crafternoon Tea
event could also be virtual but lets hope by then
we can host face to face events like we use too!
some of the ladies sent me pictures of their set ups!s
see picture above and below from Jayne
Below: Here is my afternoon Tea all set up,
Was yummy!
At the end I remembered to get a picture of those
still with me on zoom, lots of thumbs up
after what was a very 'different' crafternoon Tea
But an AMAZING one under the current C19 situation.
I always make favors for my Crafternoon Tea events, as a
little thank you to everyone for coming, these have varied in the past from
Hand lotions, to chocolates, to bath bombs, to flower seeds
and this time was no different.
I made these super cute and quick treat holders
with my Envelope Punch board and using the
Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper
to hold a yummy caramel latte coffee sachet.
They are so easy to make, I made them
in all the New 2020-2022 In Colours which
coordinated with the DSP.
The little tag is stamped using a sentiment from the
Stampin' Up! Fancy Phrases Stamp set.
I've made a video sharing how I made the
Coffee Sachet treat holder, below:
Measurements:
Cardstock 17.7cm x 17.7cm
Envelope Punch Board @ 6.4cm
Belly Band:
DSP 2 pieces 3" x 6" adhered together to create
approx 11" x 3" to wrap around
