Stampin' Up! Snowflake Wishes

Welcome to this months Ink. Stamp. Share monthly Blog Hop we our a 

group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world

sharing card making and papercraft ideas and inspiration using 

Stampin' Up! Products. Your currently with me Laura Mackie a

Each month we host a hop with a theme and this months theme is 

the Autumn and Winter Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!

I choose to share with you today Snowflakes Wishes Stamp set, 

I used this set recently to create some invites for my daughters Birthday, 

and I couldn't resist playing with it a little more 

and making a Christmas Card to share with you today.

I created a slimline card, 

they seem to be all the craze right now?

I used re-inkers in Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, 

Night of Navy and Pool Party on a baby wipe, 

known as the reinker technique, 

to create a ink pad with all those different ink colours.

I use a large clear block, and then fold a paper towel 

and a baby wipe on top and then add random drops 

of ink, you can add as many as you wish really,

I do replenish the ink drops, but after a while 

of using it does go a bit muddy / icky so i discard

and then start again with new paper towel and baby wipe 

if required.

    

                                          

You can see on the picture below the effect it creates

to the stamped image.. I love this technique!

I love the Balmy Blue glimmer paper, but it made the card 

 hard to photo, it does'nt help that its a pretty dull day here in the UK.

Frozen inspired Party Invites

Frozen inspired Party Invites

Its party and birthday day here in our house! Today my daughter

Phoebe turns 5, so today I thought I would 

share with you the invites I made, Can you guess the Theme???

Due to Covid19 we cant have the party I had planned for the 

Birthday Girl, so we opted 

for a family BBQ in the garden, but I couldn't 

resist making some invites with a frozen theme, as 

my daughter is Frozen mad! 

As soon as I saw the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper

and Stamps I instantly thought that they had a Frozen look to them!

I created the printed part on my computer, and added

the snowflakes using the Snowflake Wishes Stamp set

using the reinker technique, with reinkers in Balmy Blue, 

Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy 

and Pool Party so the snowflakes looked

similar to those on the DSP.

The base of the invite uses Highland Heather Cardstock, 

I embossed the right opening side of the invite using the co-ordinating 

embossing folder - Winter Snow

The Invites have a ribbon bow closure wrapped 

around the invite using the 

Snowflake Splendor Ribbon
