Stampin' for Christmas Blog hop - Christmas card making Ideas and Inspiration

Welcome to the Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop,
We our a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators
from all over the world sharing Christmas card making
and crafting ideas & inspiration with Stampin' Up! Products.

You're currently with me Laura Mackie
a demonstrator from the United Kingdom.

here is what I've made

I've made a cute little set of Notecards
using the Kraft Notecards & Envelopes from
Stampin' Up! with the Trees for Sale Stamp set.

I came across some adorable cards on Instagram
by Nicole Kunzig you can check her out here
She makes some really CUTE stuff!!
she had used an adorable robin for her cards,
I really loved the polka dot cards
and couldn't resist recreating the look,
with the Stampin' Up! Kraft Notecards.

I went with bright colours against the Kraft notecards,
I've used Parakeet Party above,
Evening Evergreen,
Pool Party and Polished Pink

The Kraft Notecards are great value at
only £9.50 for 20 Notecards with Envelopes and
they also come with a Kraft Box too.

I added the white dots with a white gel pen
you can get one here

I stamped the sentiment 'Christmas Greetings'
directly onto the Notecard with Soft Suede Ink.

I'm a sucker for linen thread and couldn't resist
adding a bow, I wanted to keep the cards simple
but I think the bow finishes them nicely, unusually
for me I haven't even added a gem!!!

Which colour tree is your favourite???

I'm loving the Polished Pink and the little doggy!

I hope you like my Christmas notecards
and it inspires you today

Stampin' For Christmas Blog hop

Stampin' Up! Christmas Season

Welcome to this months Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop,
we our a group of Stampin' Up1 Demonstrators from all over
the world sharing Christmas ideas and inspiration using
Stampin' Up! Stamps & products,

You're currently with me Laura Mackie a
Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the UK.

Here is what I've made for todays hop

Todays card is made using the Stampin' Up!
Christmas Season Stamp set, this stamp set is full
of leaves, pine cones and festive foliage!
I've actually only used the Holly and berry stamps
to create todays card,

I randomly stamped the Holly leaves
onto a Crumb Cake layer in Old Olive ink, and then went
and added in the berries using Cherry Cobbler Ink,

Once I stamped the background,
I then stamped another
pair of Holly leaves and berries
onto Crumb Cake cardstock and die
cut those out with the coordinating dies,

I then went ahead and heat embossed my sentiment
in gold onto more Crumb Cake cardstock and
die cut with the Stampin' Up! Seasonal Label Dies,

My sentiment is from the
Christmas to Remember stamp set,
I love the sentiment and feel it really is true
this year after the last 18 months we have all had.

Once I started playing I felt my background over powered
the sentiment and holly,
so dug out a piece of Vellum cardstock
to lay over the top, It did just what I wanted and
softened my stamped background,

I added a bow behind my sprig of holly and leaves
with the Gold Simply Elegant trim, and added
a few Gold gilded gems to finish off my card

a really traditional Christmas card,
with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Crumb Cake
and some gold thrown in!

I hope our hop inspires your
Christmas card making and Crafting,
