And here's what I've made to share with you

I'm a sucker for a butterfly so couldn't resist this 

new Stamp set called Floating & Fluttering, 

from the Mini Catalogue page 61

The stamps have co-ordinating dies which 

is always a bonus! Bundle price for both the 

stamp set and dies £44.00

Stamp set only £16.00

Todays card was an experiment with the new 

Gilded leafing embellishment,  I really wasn't sure 

how well I would be able to apply the gold leafing to 

the detailed butterflies and if you would 

get the detail back to see the butterflies?

But boy it worked and I LOVE the effect!

This card is super shiny and bright, the gold looks 

amazing on the Rococo Rose Cardstock,

Stampin' Up! Gilded Leafing 

Embellishment - £8.25 for a pot.

(Picturing the card was tricky!)

but i think you can see from the card below 

how sparkly the gilded leafing is!

To create my card I inked the stamp with versamark ink

and then used heat and stick powder to make 

the stamped image sticky, you

sprinkle the heat and stick powder all over the stamped 

image like when you emboss, shake off excess powder 

and then heat set, this gives you a sticky image!

I then added the Gilded Leafing.

I covered the card layer with the Gilded Leafing and 

then carefully rubbed and moved the leafing around to 

ensure all of the stamped image had leafing, 

I then just kept rubbing gradually removing the excess 

gilded leafing.

I also stamped the inner for my card with Rococo Rose

ink to match the card base

Card Measurements - Tall - Slim card

card base Rococo Rose cardstock

21cm x 21cm scored in half at 10.5cm

Rococo Rose Layer 9.5cm x 20.5cm

Gold foil sheet off cut 2cm x 20.5cm

Card inner 10cm x 20.5cm

I added some lined thread and a embossed and die

cut butterfly from the coordinating die set,

with lots of Champagne rhinestones to finish

not that it needed any more bling as its a very 

sparkly card from the amazing Gilded Leafing!
