Our theme for todays hop is
the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue /
Spring / Summer Catalogue
And I'm sharing some projects today made with the
Hydrangea Hill Designers Series Paper and
Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!
I've been doing a little Japanese book binding recently,
I had a little dabble with it early last year and decided to revisit it,
I recently joined a Lockdown Happy mail group
and I made a notebook for my happy mail receiver.
I loved how it turned and decided to have
a play with the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series paper and make
another notebook.
The notebook is made with chipboard which I
cut to size and then I
covered it with one of the
papers from the Hydrangea Hill
Designer Series Paper Collection.
The notebooks are A5 sized and
which I filled with plain paper
I used the Ridiculously Awesome Stamp set for the
'Make Today Ridiclously Awesome' greeting
I thought it was perfect for the front of the notebook and a
perfect reminder for the recipient each time they picked
up the notebook to write in it!
I also made a co-ordinating card to go with the notebook,
again the greeting 'You Got This' from
the Ridiculously Awesome Stamp set, again another
greeting that I feel we all need reminding of from time to time!
I know I keep telling myself it everyday right now!
Home schooling boy is hard!
I stamped the card with the Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Haven
Stamp set with the matching inks in
Highland Heather, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray with
Misty Moonlight to match the Designer Series paper.
I even stamped my card inner! I often forget to do this!
The Japenese Book Binding I've used
is the 4-Hole Binding and is pretty simple to follow
and great for starting out!
Well I hope you like my projects today and I've inspired you
