Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Haven Birthday Card
Hey Crafter, who loves Hydrangeas?? ME!
and these kind suite me as I can't kill them, I'm not sure what
I do wrong but I always seem to kill them!
These kind on the other hand I can have them in
every colour I fancy, this one is a mix of
Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape with a little
Misty Moonlight.
I stamped the Hydrangea outline image first
using Mossy Meadow for the foliage and then
Gorgeous Grape for the flower head,
I then inked up the 2nd / Two step stamp with the
lightest colour first being Highland Heather,
I then added a little Gorgeous Grape and
Misty Moonlight with Sponge Daubers and then stamped
this gave my Hydrangea its tonal look!
I gave a a double bow a shot! these are tricky for me
but I'm glad I stuck at it as I love this sheer
Gorgeous Grape ribbon and I love the finished bow.

Gorgeous Grape - 21cm x 21cm / scored in half at 10.5cm
DSP layer 20.5cm x 10cm
Highland Heather layer 18.5cm x 8cm
Whisper White layer 18cm x 7.5cm
I made this card for my mother in law who also loves
Hydrangeas, she does manage to look after hers
better than me though,
I love the Stampin' Up! Family Party Stamp set,
this stamp set has the Mother stamp, and I do
love to add these details for a family card, I
feel it adds a personal touch.
