Stampin' Up! Hats Off - 16th Birthday card

Stampin' Up! Hats Off 

Yesterday was my sons 16th Birthday, wow

that makes me feel old! 

Today I thought I would share with you the card I made

for him with the Hats Off Bundle from Stampin' Up!

I Loved this bundle when I saw it as I 

struggle with cards for Men & Boys and knew 

this would create a cool card!

Loved how the card turned out,

I kept it really simple!!

The HAPPY BIRTHDAY background is created using 

the Biggest Wish Stamp set, Stamped in Smoky Slate 

onto Smoky Slate cardstock

The 16 and SON are both die cut using 

the Playful Alphabet Dies, and both adhered 

with Dimensionals.

I die cut the hat with Basic Black cardstock, and 

added it to the card again on dimensionals, 

I couldnt resist adding some basic Black twine, 

just popped in behind the hat! I love twine!

I've also added a few Matte Black Dots becuase 

I cant not, I did hum and har whether I should

but I did and love the look of the finished card.

Inside the card:

Here's his gift, which I wrapped and dressed with 

Ribbon and Silver Elegant Trim,

 the older they get the smaller the gifts but 

I'm Sure they get more expensive! 

Inside was a lovely Watch!

The Tag again is made using the Hippo & Friends Dies, 

there really is some great shape dies in this set!

The Sentiment is again from the Biggest Wish Stamp set, 

and the Little Hat is dit cut from the Hat Builder Dies.
