Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop

Welcome to this months Ink.Stamp.Share Monthly Card Making and Papercraft
ideas and inspirtation Blog Hop featuring Stampin' Up! products.
We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world sharing
Card making and Papercraft ideas using Stampin' Up! products, your currently
hopping with me Laura Mackie a Demonstrator from the United Kingdom.

This month our theme is 'anything we've been working on'
and I thought I'd share with you another card I made using the
Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp set

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers

I started by stamping the smaller sunflower on some
whisper white cardstock and then coloured them in with
my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers,
in Daffodil Delight light and Dark, Old Olive light and dark
and Soft Sued Light and Dark for the centres of my Sunflowers.

I then die cut everything out with the co-ordinating dies,
I also die cut some extra leaves from some Crumb Cake cardstock
and Vellum Cardstock, and just played around,
I had a rough idea of the layout in my head,

Once happy I began to adhere down my flowers and leaves,
everything is adhered down flat, with only the sentiment raised on
dimensional pads,

My sentiment is stamped in versamark ink, and heat embossed with
white embossing powder on to Basic Black cardstock.

I added some champagne rhinestones and a bow
tied in linen thread to finish.

To recreate my card:

Card Base Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake cardstock measuring
21cm x 14.85cm scored in half at 10.5cm

gold foil layer measuring  9.5cm 13.85

another Crumb Cake cardstock layer measuring 9.2cm x 13.5cm

Basic Black for sentiment 2cm x 13.5cm (approx)

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers handmade card

So I'm back today to share some more
Sunflower card making happiness!

The Celebrate Sunflower Stamp set from Stampin' Up! is one of
my favourites, I love to colour with my Stampin' Blends, so this
flower is perfect! I tend to stamp several and then sit in front of the TV
and just colour them in, its very relaxing and therapeutic! if you need to unwind
from a heavy or stressful day this is the medicine for you!

The bonus of pre colouring the Sunflowers is that assembling and
making your cards is pretty quick and perfect for mass producing too.

I've coloured the Sunflower in with the following Stampin' Blends
Old Olive Light and Dark for the Leaves
Daffodil Delight light and Dark for the petals,
and
Soft Suede Light and Dark for the sunflower centre

My sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink, onto Basic Black cardstock
and then heat embossed in White, for a real pop against the Sunflower.

Card measurements

To make my card you will need

a C6 Card base, I've used Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake cardstock
measuring 21cm x 14.85cm scored in half at 10.5cm, I cut the card base and
all cardstock on my Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer (see below)

A piece of Stampin' Up! gold foil sheet measuring 8.3cm x 12.7cm

and then a Whisper white layer measuring 8cm x 12.4cm

Sunflower and leaves stamped on Whisper White Off cuts, coloured and
die cut out using the coordinating card making Dies.

this time creating a Watercoloured back ground using re-inkers and watercolour paper!

How vibrant do these colours look together??

Colours I used are:

these colours with an Aqua Painter

the edge of Gold and Black Stripe is a strip of Designer Series paper

The sentiment I've stamped in Versamark ink then heat embossed in
