Stampin' Up! Dressed to Impress 30th Birthday Shaker Card

I shared on Saturday (scroll down to see that post) my sisters gifts for her 30th Birthday
so today I thought I would share
with you the card I made for her.

It uses the New Dressed to Impress Stamp set which is available right now.
I've teamed it up with the Snow Globe Scenes
Dies to create a girlie Snow globe 30 shaker card

Heres the card:

I stamped everything in black memento ink, and then coloured them all in with
my Smoky Slate Stampin Blends

the Happy Birthday is die cut in Basic Black cardstock using the
Well Written Dies (item number 148534)

I will never part with my Still Scenes or Snow Globe Scenes Dies, Snow Globes are definitely not just for Christmas in my eyes! what do you say???

30 presents for turning 30 by Laura Mackie Papercrafter

During Christmas my sister had her 30th birthday and today I thought I would share with you her gift I made for her, plus my crazy idea back in January 2019 to treat her to 30 gifts!

You know when you have a bright idea well this was one of those until it came to wrapping them up!

I included sweets, chocolate, nail varnish, smellies, socks, notebooks, wine, a scratch card, anything I could find with an elephant as she loves elephants! and so much more, I collected them through the year keeping everything listed in a notebook numbered 1 - 30, I also kept a note of my costs too,

Below is one of those 30 gifts well it was the last one she opened!

The 30 is a wooden MDF blank which I then covered in a polka dot paper,
and decorated, my sisters not overly a flowery girl but I totally am, so I was careful to not overdo the flowers, she loved it and its sitting pride of place in her home

I made cute paper flowers using the Stampin up Four petal flower punch, foliage from the frosted bouquet dies, the smaller flowers are created using the 2 1/4" and 2" circle punches

I've used a grey colour combo including Smoky Slate and Basic grey with Whisper White and some Shimmery white cardstock too

p.sm those Dark flowers look black but are Basic Grey.

my sister loved all of her gifts, and I loved doing it for her! apart from the wrapping them up! and yes I made her open them in order hahaha!
