Kre8tors Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

Welcome to this months Kre8tors blog hop,

its time for another Blog hop with this talented bunch of

Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world,

you're currently with me Laura Mackie a

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Norfolk in the UK

This months hop theme is this

sketch, a sketch is always a great way to kick

start your crafty mojo when your in a crafty rutt

or short on time!!

Here is what I came up with

I love how modern and ontrend the

Stampin' Up! Abstract Beauty Speciality papers are

and couldnt resist using them for the Sketch challenge.

I kept pretty much to the sketch, just opting

on changing up the circle shape to a hexagon,

I used the Beautiful Shapes Dies to die cut the

Hexagon from Blushing Bride cardstock which

matched the pink in the Patterned Paper.

I love the Abstract Beauty Speciality papers they

really are stunning with the gold foiling and

really dont need much embellishment!

I do love a bow and couldnt resist adding one

with some black Bakers twine from the

Baker's Twine Essentials pack,

This card has minimal stamping with

only the Happy Birthday greeting stamped

in black ink on Basic White cardstock which

I hand cut out and added to the Pink hexagon

on dimensionals, the sentiment is from

the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and has

to be my favourite birthday sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Daffodil Daydream handmade card

I'm sharing with you the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series

Patterned paper which is the FREE Sale-a-Bration product

but it coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream Stamp set

So the background papers are from the paper pack

and then the Daffodil is stamped from the stamp set

and then coloured with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Which card is your favourite??

I LOVE the one on the black paper, I think

it makes the Daffodil image really pop

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from

another Stamp Set - from Stampin' Up!

called Flowing Flowers - This stamp set has

some fab greetings and the font is beautiful

I used the following Stampin' Blends markers

to colour my image,

Daffodil Delight and Old Olive

I've added a bow tied in Gold Elegant trim and a

beautiful Brushed Brass Butterfly embellishment

to finish off each of my cards
