Stationary Carousel Class by Post

We are so excited to share our first Class by Post to make this Stationary Carousel

all kits will post week commencing 18th February, Currently we are only posting within the UK.

Jo and myself are both Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, having been running our very successful and hugely popular all day Stampin' Sanctuary Classes locally now coming into our 4th year, we have now decided the time is right to offer our classes by post, we often hear from people who are not local but would love to make our projects, so with that in mind here is your chance to complete our class in the comfort of your own home.

The Carousel, turns around on a lazy susan, it includes great storage for all your craft supplies, 

we've even included a place to pop your tombo adhesive!

You will receive everything to make the stationary carousel, you will just need to supply your own adhesive, paper trimmer, bone folder and scissors - just your basic tool kit really, anything you need in particular that we think you may not have we would advise you of this.

Full detailed colour instructions with photos

full pack of 12x12 All my Love DSP

1 x Lazy Susan

1 x pack of All my Love Cardstock 

some Linen Thread

a selection of All my Love Ribbons

1/2 pack of Heart Epoxy Droplets

2 x metal drawer handles 

and Chipboard

You will have lots left over to play with once you have made your Carousel,

Kre8tors Blog Hop Theme Sympathy

Welcome and thank you for joining us for this month Kre8tors blog hop.

This months theme is 'Sympathy' and when I saw the theme I thought hmmm ok! I don't think its a card any of us really want to make is it?? especially for me as not knowing that a few days later I was going to need to make a sympathy card for a friends family who had lost her short battle to cancer..

I have to say this wasn't the easiest card I've ever made,

I made the card using the new Stampin' Up! stamp set 

First Frost which is in the New Autumn & Winter Catalogue, I've used Grey Granite cardstock and ink, I have to admit I'm in love with Grey Granite what about you??

I've heat embossed the sentiment with Silver embossing powder, the sentiment comes from the 'Better Together' Stamp set

My sentiment is die cut using one of the gorgeous shapes from the Stitched labels framelits, these framelits are gorgeous, being a sewer I love the stitching details which feature on all the framelits theres a darling little stitched heart that I cant wait to play with...

I layered some Whisper White Polka dot tulle ribbon behind the die cut shape with some 

Grey Granite 1/2" textured ribbon.

I've coloured some pearls too with my Basic Black Stampin' Blends markers

Our theme this month  is 'Water' here is our brief:

Could include Oceans, Beach, Lake, Snow, rain, bath, shower, beverages - as long as it has water you can use it! so I went totally out of the 'box' and used actual 'water' with my watercolour pencils to create some quick water-coloured backgrounds..

Here are my cards:

The card above uses 4 watercolour pencils

Each background is created on Watercolour paper, I laid down the colour then blended over with my Aqua painter, these backgrounds are so fun to make... 

The  Watercolour pencils are as you would expect from Stampin' Up! amazing quality, smooth they can be used with our aqua painter, blender pens or alone to achieve amazing watercolour images.
