Stampin' Up! Brilliant Wings

Welcome to this months Ink. Stamp. Share monthly Blog Hop we our a 

group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world

sharing card making and papercraft ideas and inspiration using 

Stampin' Up! Products. Your currently with me Laura Mackie a 

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the UK.

Each month we host a hop with a theme 

and this months theme is 'Showcase' which 

means we get to share with you

what we've been working on

Heres my card:

I saw lots of fellow demonstrators playing with 

their Stampin' Blends, Vellum cardstock, 

their Heat tool and Isopropranol

and I had held off playing, but loved how fab 

the backgrounds looked, so couldnt resist any longer!

Here is the result, this background was created 

after I had experimented with just one Stampin' Blend, 

which I would recommend playing with One Blend first

before adding two then maybe three!

This background uses Polished Pink - Dark with 

Pretty Peacock - Dark Stampin' Blends.

I watched a video on YouTube by Lisa Curcio

who shared a fab video and is well worth 

a watch if you would like to give it ago too! 

Its so much fun you wont be dissappointed!

I kept my card pretty simple

as I wanted the Background I created to be

centre of attention, the Butterfly is die cut

using the Brilliant Wings dies with Basic White

cardstock, my sentiment is heat embossed 

in white on Basic black cardstock so 

it reallt pops!

Spot the Be Dazzling Speciality paper! 

Look at the sparkle its sooo pretty and 

really adds a wow to any project!

I LOVE this stuff, 

I even punched out the little 

tiny circles too.

Stampin' Up! Sheltering Tree Boys Birthday Card

So yesterday my eldest son turned 11 - Im still getting my head around it, it just doesnt seem possible!! time is going way to quick for my liking... For his birthday he had a new bike so my card had to fit the theme, ages ago i saw a cute card using the bike stamp from Sheltering Tree - I cant remember who made this card - maybe Kylie someone but Im not sure anyway thank you for the idea my son LOVED his card....

Ive seen lots of people do these double Z fold cards so thought  I would give it ago...

On the inside fold I stamped lots of Sentiments 

and added a personal greeting on the back of the card..

Stampin' Up! Number of Years Stamp set

As soon as I saw this set I 'needed' it!!! have you got it??? no??? well honestly you need it too, It makes Birthday cards, Anniversary cards, Thank you cards and it teams up amazingly well with the Balloon Builders stamp set.... Take a look at the card i made for a little girl whos turning 3 this month..

I dont think you can see it that well but the '3' is cut out in Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, which is then glued on to 3 other 3's cut in thick whisper white.. i then tied a bow around the 3 using Stampin' Up! 's Bakers twine in Whisper white
