Make My Monday ‘Black and white with a hint of red’

This weeks Make My Monday challenge is

Black & White with a hint of RED

Heres my card…

I havent used this stamp in agessssss so grabbed it straight away as i love the Swallowtail stamped in black directly on to white no bells needed such a detailed stamp i love it

I stamped the Swallowtail stamp twice and cut the left wing out to add dimension to my card..

Stampin’ Up! Convention 2014 Team Gifts

Its a lovely idea and how it started im not sure, But at Convention and other Stampin’ Up! events we take along gifts for the rest of our team (and adopted team members)

Heres the gifts I received..

A Cracker and charm with chocolates from my upline Sandra

A gorgeous book and pen from Jo she made it from scratch too.. clever girl : )

A very handy washi tape holder from Tracy an adopted American Demo and

lastly a gorgeous bracelet from my downline Tracy which she made – love it

Heres what i made everyone…

I decorated notebooks featuring and colours inspired by the convention 2014 logo.. they all loved them,

I also made Bag Charms as we all had the same bags this was a good way to see whos was whos easily

I shared a room with Jo, and we also made each other a roomie gift, Jo made and decorated me this gorgeous acrylic holder using Stampin ups All is Calm Dsp, with roses in matching cardstock, inside was chocolates and some lovely Sanctuary smellies and flanel. she’d also clipped on the outside a lovely bag charm with butterflies – my favourite..

Make My Monday Postal Art4

Well its that time again for a new Make My Monday challenge and this week the them is Postal Art – and Stampin’ Up! have the perfect stamp – called Postcard

Ive stamped my postcard stamp in soft suede ink onto crumb cake cardstock for the base of my card, i wanted my flowers to be the wow pop of colour

My flowers are from another new Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Flower Patch, these stamps are photopolymer and have coordinating framelit dies to go with them… the set is great value at £37.25 the set includes 3 sentiment stamps too

I stamped the Swallowtail stamp onto my card using whisper white ink, i didnt want my card to have blank space – I wanted it to be full and interesting, have i achieved that – i hope so

Hand Made Embellishment

Its Monday again - How can that be??? we all ask...

Well its time for another challenge over at MAKE MY MONDAY... and this weeks challenge we want to se your hand made Embellishments.... I cant wait to visit your blog and see what you come up with....

This is my Hand made Embellishment... made using my small scallop circle punch.... i punched out 8 scallop circles from the sunshine and sprinkles DSP then foldered them to create this gorgeous little flower... i saw the idea in Blog land and i cant remember where so i can give the person credit... she had instructions too which would of been nice to be able to share with you.... - ** kick myself****

I added my embellishment to my card.... oh Mr Swallowtail, he was created by cutting a mask then stamping all over with my splodges from French Foliage...

Stamps - Swallowtail, French Foliage and Occasions Alphabet
Ink - Basic Grey, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist

Cardstock - As above plus Whisper White and sunshine and sprinkles DSP

Punch - 1 1/4" scallop circle punch

Embellishments - lucky limeade bakers twine and pink button
