Merry Monday Colour challenge

 

Today Ive decided to join in with WOYWW – Whats on your workdesk wednesday.. ive been wanting to play for ages and ages, but always forget.. but today i finally remembered.. and whats on my workdesk… well im busy prepping for my card club tomorrow… heres me cutting the card bases etc.. as you can see im quite a neat crafter – this is unusual i know but i cant work in mess… OCD thats me!!

and I couldnt resist playing along with this weeks Merry Monday Challenge  when i saw the colour combo.. and i had a design in mind straight away, how is it sometimes they do that then other times you sit and ponder and fiddle for hours and nothing….???

Heres my card:

I cut a circle aperture in to my card base with my Stampin’ Up! Circle framelits.. then punched out lots of little stars ..

Ive used a colour combo of Smoky Slate, Coastal cabana, silver, whisper white and cardstock vellum…

eek.. i loved making this card hope you like it too…

I love it when a stamps set has multiple uses.. and i think you’ll agree Petite Petals makes a lovely christmas card too.. i know its pretty early for Christmas but i couldnt resist…

52 christmas card throwdown–stampin up style

 

I didnt plan on posting today and really havent done alot today (lazy hey) but got totally inspired by this sketch and headed straight to my craft room…

I know dont say it Christmas again already – but this year i plan to be organised and this challenge is just the way to help me be just that… this weeks challenge is a sketch challenge: to play along to click on the sketch below..

Ive pleated my Season of style washi tape which goes on the 1st of Feb – i’ll be sad to see it go ive made christmas trees, presents, stuck photos down and loads more with that stuff… and great value to at only £4.50 for 3 rolls…

Im going to miss the sentiment too which also goes at the end of the month in the Autumn and Winter Seasonal Catalogue…

Are you wondering where the die cut stars come from?? well there from the Circle Card Framelits collection in there with the card framelit is some cute little arrows, a heart, a banner, some words and the star… great value pack of dies for the money.

My Last Christmas card

 

I hope you all had a very lovely, festive and merry Christmas with friends family and loved ones, I did spending quality time with my son and family, Im now set for a Brand shiny new year – bring on a happy, healthy and very crafty 2014 … but before we bring in the new year here is my last christmas card of 2013..

Inspired by a card i saw on pinterest by Helen at Dining room drawers she used a die to create the little house but i used a ruler and pencil and my stampin up scallop border punch ….

They were pretty fidly to make but so worth it…. the recipents loved them …
