Stampin' Up! Hello Cupcake

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my sisters recent birthday, I call her Cupcakes so this stamp set was perfect for her! the New Hello Cupcake stamp set is earned FREE with a £45 order..

I created a watercolour washed background with my Bermuda Bay watercolour pencil and Aqua Painter, I stamped the cupcake twice once over the watercoloured background once it was dry then again on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock..

I coloured the cupcake case again with the Bermuda Bay Pencil, then hand cut the cupcake out, adhering the cupcake case to my card base flat, I added Dazzling Diamonds to the Cupcake frosting then adhered that to my card on dimensionals…

I added Metallic thread plus lots of sequins and rhinestones for extra bling..

the little flowers are stamped randomly in Grey Granite ink..

I stamped my using my Stamparatus, in Memento Black ink, I was able to stamp my greeting 2 maybe 3 times, so the sentiment really stood out on the watercolour cardstock....

Stampers by the Dozen Blog Hop - Colour Challenge

Welcome and thank you for joining us on our Stampers by the Dozen Blog hop, you may of joined me from Dena who I'm sure has amazed you with her creativity and take on this months challenge

This months theme is a colour challenge
No automatic alt text available.

I'm not gonna lie and say I found this challenge easy as I didn't! I love the colours but boy putting something together was tricky! then I spotted my fav stamp set First Frost! and knew straight away that So Saffron with Poppy Parade dauber middles to my flowers would look fab!
and they do I love them

I also stamped a few smaller flowers in Poppy Parade and So Saffron,

The larger flowers are inked in So Saffron then with a dauber I added Poppy Parade ink, I love the tonal flower you get when you use the daubers to add a second colour!

The wood grain background was inspired from Stesha Bloodhart she uses the woodgrain DSP a lot and I love it and always think why do I not use those papers more?!?! so today I did...

Hope you've enjoyed my card your next hop is over to Karie who I'm
sure is going to spoil your with her lovely project today
