This months theme is 'Brides and Babies'
I'm sharing a card I made recently for a fellow friend and demonstrator, who recently got married, I wanted to make her a pretty card and the laser-cut card bases were perfect!
I inked up the card base with some Stampin Sponge rollers, with Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo an Petal Pink Ink to create an Ombre effect, I spotted another demonstrator who had created an ombre effect on one of these card bases and knew I needed to have a try!
I simply love the sponge brayers they make creating these backgrounds so easy, as the ink blends so easy
I stamped lots of flowers from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set using Rococco Rose, Petal Pink and Blushing Bride all stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock
I then stamped some foliage and leaves in Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Ink, I hand cut everything out, then started to play with my placements and layout!
I adhered some flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals and some flat with Tombow adhesive, the greeting is stamped in Rococco Rose ink, the sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp set.
Here is the gift, I purchased the gift wrap and then added a bow using the Petal Pink Stripped Organdy ribbon, I simply love the wooden Mr & Mrs keepsake!
