Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

Welcome to our Ink. Stamp. Share Blog hop, we are a group of global Stampin' Up! Demonstrators sharing creative ideas and inspiration using current Stampin' Up! products. I'm Laura Mackie from the UK you may of joined me from Pia's blog or you may be starting off here, which ever Im sure your going to be inspired to go get your Stamp on!

This month our theme is FLORAL and here is what I've made

I've used the floating frame technique this time using the gorgeous Sunflowers

from the Painted Harvest Stamp set,

I'm loving this technique as you get 2 cards from 1,

notice the second card uses the middle of the card with the frame cut out!

I stamped 4 sunflowers in Daffodil Delight for both

stamps, by that I mean this Sunflower is stamped using 3 stamps

flower layer 1 - Daffodil Delight

Flower layer 2 - Daffodil Delight

Both 1st generation ink

then the flower centre stamped in soft Suede

I then hand cut these out,

I stamped some leaves in Granny Apple Green ink and punched these

out with the coordinating leaf punch,  thank goodness their is a punch for the leaves!!

To create my frame I've used the stitched

rectangle framelits with some Glad Press n' Seal this holds

all my stamped images in place while I run it through the big shot!

then lots of dimensional foam pads to then adhere it to the frame

I hope I've inspired you to get creative today, go on give the floating frame a try!
