Morning Crafters… So today Ive sorted through my SU stash for retired Stamp sets and Accessories, amongst the retired stamps i came across ‘young vermillion’ and ‘pocket silhouettes’ both lovely stamps and so handy for all occasions. Before i put them safe in a box i had to have a little play with them one last time.. hehehe!! To see all of the retiring items click on the ‘going, going GONE’ link on the right hand side of my blog.
so heres the card i came up with to coincide with this weeks Colour Q Challenge:
I didnt have Bermuda bay ink or card stock, so opted for pool party and a hint of tempting turquoise when colouring in the little bird.
I used the gorgeous pocket silhouettes stamp set to create a leafy wild area below my bird, so he looks like he’s purched amongst long grasses and wild flowers.
I also added some extra leaf and flower heads to the bottom right hand corner to add a touch of dimension to the card, using the leaves from the bird builder punch and the flower heads from the itty bitty punch set
Supplies: Stamps Young Vermillion wood mount £6.95 and Pocket Silhouettes wood mount @ £17.95, Basic Grey, whisper white, pool party and Gunball Green card stock and ink.
Interested in any products or supplies used today I’d love to order them for you and dont forget retiring items are only available while stocks last, to place an order email or call me today on 01842 828643 i’ll be more than happy to help you.
Thank you for popping by today, till next time xx Laura xx
