Racing themed party invites

 

Well here i am again 3 times in one week hey!!!

Today im sharing with you the invites i made recently for my sons up and coming birthday party – can you guess the theme??? the party is fast approaching now and i need to get my bum in to gear and make table decorations, party bags etc… i’ll share pics with you soon of what else ive made and pics of the party…

The invite details i just printed off on my PC using a word document – i set the page up to print 4 layouts a page – saving paper :)

School Craft Club

 

So for the last few weeks ive been running a craft club at my sons school the kids love it and heres what they made last week…

Its a set of 4 cards using the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Patterned Occasions, they made a get well card, Birthday male and female and a Thank you card…

They also made a cute little box to put them in….

they also made there own key rings which we attached to the boxes with ribbon..

Make My Monday–Summer Scene

 

Im sorry my blogging last week was nil.. I was so busy with the day job and did zero crafting, but i made up for it yesterday by making my nieces 1st birthday invites, I will be showing you them very soon.. so over to todays Make My Monday Challenge which is create a summer scene…. it doesnt feel much like summer here!! does it where you are??? hopefully it will arrive soon…

heres my card: Inspired by children at play in the park a sure summer scene ‘when the sun’ is shinning…..

I created my card by masking off an area with post it notes, sponging my back ground using Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz, then using the soon to retire stamp from Forever young inked in black for that silhouette look…

Heres a closer look…

Ive then finished off the masked area by using the daisy stamp which is one of the stamps from the ‘Best of’ Flowers set – which is only available until the end of this month and is only £13.95

What ive used;

Ink – Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky and Basic Black

Stampin up in colors 2013-2015

I promised a post this week featuring some new things coming in the new Annual cattie which releases 2nd July... so today i decided to share with you the yummy new in-colors.....

I made 5 really quick cards using the Best of Flowers stamp set, which is only available this month for only £13.95,  with a new sentiment from the NEW stamp set called Happy Day

Paper cone Wreath

I promised you a closer look of my paper cone wreath... so here it is:

to make the wreath you need double sided dsp, i used the gorgeous su papers Sunshine and Sprinkles - which is only availbel until the end of this month for only £9.95 a pack

I cut my DSP in to 7.5cm x 7.5cm squares, i cut over 100 of these!!! i then rolled each piece individually and glued with red tape, i slightly nipped the base of the cone, each cone was the individually hot glued to my polystyrene ring,  

so many people loved my wreath at the Hockwold Country Fair

Hockwold Country Fair

SO i promised you i would share with you pictires from my Stand last Sunday at Hockwold country fair, well with the hecticness of last week it just didnt happen... but here they are finally..

It was a beautiful hot sunny day and hundreds of people turned out, it was a great day... i met lots of new crafty people some of which came who came to my Chrismtas card club wednesday night, i was surprised that so many Crafty people hadnt heard of Stampin up... one lady who looked through the cattie said oh wow its crafters heaven - she isnt wrong!!!

I had so many lovely comments about my wreath.... later this week i will post a Closer pic and explain how i made it....

I feel bad i havent been here since last monday, ive had such a busy week with classes and the day job!! but im back again for MMM challenge.... and promise to post at least twice this week :)

ILWS Last Chance Farewell Blog Hop

Today, im slightly less stressed than yesterday, even though I didn't manage to get done half of what I wanted, but I did get to place an order of retiring goodies and some sneak peak items plus the yummy new In-colours, I must say i did enjoy having my niece to stay, and did manage to do a spot of making while the princess herself slept!! which I will say was very brief!!, any way today myself and several other Demonstrators have put together some projects / Cards using Stampin' Up! products that are soon to be retiring, and are now only available while stocks last..

My card background is 'brayered' - my new favourite technique :) the button I used is also retiring -  the buttons all most go to make way for the new facelifted ones - ooooooo exciting hey watch this space!!
