Stampin' Up! Gilded Autumn Suite
Welcome to this months 'Special' Ink. Stamp. Share Blog hop
This special hop was introduced back in April / May time when the UK
went into its first Lockdown, it gave us the opportunity to share
what we had been working, the UK is back in another month
long Lockdown until early December. I'm so thankful we carried
this hop on! and we can share what we love with everyone.
Heres what I've been working on:
Using the beautiful Gilded Autumn Suite from Stampin' Up!
I've been batch making some birthdays cards for up and coming
birthdays, I try and work a month ahead and have them ready, but
best laid plans don't always work out, these cards I've made
for the last of my November Birthdays and some of my December
Birthdays, I also made extras and these are some spares to add to my stash,
I sometimes find I can scrap last minute for a card,
With the current lockdown restrictions here in the UK, I find I've been
being asked more by family and friends
for cards for those who dont shop online,
Did you spot the little Acron Trinket??
These cards will cost a little more to post due to the adding
of the gorgeous little Acorn Trinkets, but I love them, they really are
lovely and add an extra special touch, this is something to
bare in mind when your adding embellishments to your cards,
(I dont mind paying that little bit more)
The card involved very little stamping really, as the background layers
all use the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP), in fact
the only stamping I did was Stamping my sentiment which
I've stamped on to DSP also, my
sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink,
then punched out with the Story Label Punch,
You dont have to use DSP though
you could stamp all the different layers,
Card Measurements
card base 10.5cm x full a4 sheet, scored in half at 14.85
lay in your trimmer landscape and cut off 7.5cm
so you'll have a piece measuring 10.5cm x 7.5cm, this becomes the front
for your card, I saw the idea for this card layout / style recently at
Stampin' Up! OnStage @ Home event and couldn't wait to give it a try.
