Welcome to the Be Inspired Blog Hop,
We our a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators
from all over the world sharing ideas and
inspiration with Stampin' Up! Products.
You're currently with me Laura Mackie
a demonstrator from the United Kingdom.
Todays hop theme is 'Pick a Season'
Spring, Summer Autumn or Winter
I choose Winter
here is my card
I saw a beautiful candy cane
love heart treat by fellow demonstrator and
Stampin' Up! Artistan Design Team member Tami Hewlett
she had used real candy canes to create
the treat I loved it and that
was the inspiration behind my card today...
Check out Tami's Blog here
I stamped the two candy canes in Real Red ink
with the Sweet Candy Canes
Stamp set, which I positioned to look like a heart,
I stamped foliage, leaves and holly
from the Christmas Banners Stamp set with
Evening Evergreen and Old Olive Ink.
everything I've used today is listed below.
I added the splats with some white ink
and a paint brush dipped in water,
not forgetting the Brass coloured Flat Jingle Bell,
a bow tied in Linen Thread with
a few shimmery white Seasonal Sequins.
Card Base - Crumb Cake Cardstock
Card layers - Crumb Cake and Real Red Cardstock.
I hope you like my card and it inspires you
to go and get inky,
