Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities with How to Video
Playing with the new Blendabilites, using the different colours i was progressing well and pleased with the results, BUT i became pretty frustrated with the Coastal Cabana set heres my first go using them exactly as all the others but its blotchey and you can see that its not blending that well as id found the others had….
I wasnt going to be defeated, playing and experimenting a little while later and heres my almost not quite but nearly perfect colouring
What ive learnt you really dont need to be an artist with these markers, and or of had experience – i mean i’ve never used alcohol markers EVER before, and look at the results, the markers are a great price to at £10.95 for a pack of 3, (1 dark, 1 medium and 1 light) The blended bloom stamp is a great starter stamp with the markers because you can really practice on the petals and perfecting your technique,
Watch my video on how i use the markers
Heres how i used my finished coloured flower – inspired by a design on Pinterest ……
What you need to get started with Blendabilities:
Essentials: Whisper white cardstock 40 sheets @ £7.50, Blended Bloom wood mount Stamp, Memento ink pad, and a colour lifter
I would start with 1 pack of Old Olive (green) Markers and one other colour choose from Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie or Cherry Cobbler
This starter kit is £50.35 to order simply click on the image below, email or call me details below – Order the kit online and i will send you a gift as a special ‘Thank you’

Freshly Made Sketch 143
My order from the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue arrived friday and ive been busy playing with all my new goodies, high on my favourites list are the new Blendabilites… here i have used them to colour in a new stamp Blended Bloom…
My card sketch is based on this weeks challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches
I will admit my first few attempts i wasnt very good with the alcohol markers, but im improving the more i use them, i love that i can colour gems and pearls with the markers as their alcohol based – Stampin’ Up! coordination just got better, to see my orginal post with videos about the markers click here
Keeping with my pack to stamp inside the card too…
Heres what i used to make my card:
