More Amour Designer Fabric

Its Wednesday Crafters... were half way to the weekend .... yeyyyyy i here you all say.. So i thought id give you a wee break from Swallowtail today and show you a card ive made using Stampin' Up! fabric...

Ive used a Doilie mask cut from cardstock Vellum, using the Sizzlit 'Delicate Doilies' to make my random background, using a sponge and pool party ink, to match the stampin up fabric, The fabric Ive used is NEW and available from the Spring and Summer Cattie, its called More Amour - and includes 3 totally gorgeous fabrics, the pack of fabric costs £8.95, the fabric ive used here.. has doilies on it although you cant really see them as ive pleated the fabric up...

I have never machined on any of my cards before so as soon as i saw the challenge i knew i had to play along... i think you maybe seeing more stitching on my cards on the future and more fabric.... i like the look and the interest it gives my cards...

I love the colours, and the elegant butterfly punch in pool party and vellum cardstock and finished off with the pearls... 

What I used:

Stamps - Thats the ticket and Occasions Alphabet

Ink - Pool Party

Cardstock - Pool Party, Very Vanilla and Vellum card stock.

Fabric - More Amore Designer Fabric

Elegant Butterfly Punch

Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L* (cut in card stock vellum to use as a mask)

Colour Challenge no 132 

  

Heres the card i made:

I really enjoyed making this card I love the colours together... and when i saw one of the colours was summer starfruit I couldnt wait to play with my FREE sale-a-bration Designer series paper... 

See Ive used the Doilie die again.... i couldnt resist i LOVE my new Sizzlit :)

I just love the new Bitty Butterfly Punch too... did you see my hints of sparkle with the silver glimmer cardstock... again FREE with a £150 party during Sale-a-Bration...

The sentiment i used is from Apothecary Art..

A Perfect Vintage Verse

  

Hi crafters and thank you for coming bye today...

Heres the card i promised to show you from monday using the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits.... Its a card i made at a recent training day.. showcasing the Stamp sets you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-Bration ... The set used is Vintage Verses i just love this set.. actually the more i play with my free goodies the more i fall in love with them all... 

The Background with the doilie is made by making a Doilie out of Vellum (106584) then applying Tombo glue, but letting the tombo dry so the doilie is removable (you can then reuse and reuse the doile) lay the doile on the background card stock in this case its Early Espresso, the tombo will hold the doile in place while you spritz with Vanilla Smooch Spritz (118772) gently remove the doile and set to dry... and voila you have your background :)

I love Rich Razzleberry but im lovin' it even more teamed with the Early Espresso and Sahara Sand, and not forgetting a hint of First Edition DSP (121878) 

What i used to make this card: Sale-a-Bration 'Vintage Verses' Stamp set, Delicate Doiles Sizzlits, Bitty Butterfly Punch, 7/8th" scallop circle punch, Glimmer card stock, Rich Razzleberry ink, card stock and stiched grosgrain ribbon, Early espresso and Sahara Sand card stock, and Pearl basic Jewels (119247), Itty Bitty Punch.

Love Doilies and Hearts

Hi Crafters and thank you for coming bye today... 

Today im showing you a card i made using a new technique i came across online... I cant remember where i saw it or if the technique has a name!!! silly me hey!!??

Heres the Card:

The Background uses the technique i came across.... Ive stamped my background using the SU 'En Francais' stamp all over - ive used Raspberry Ripple ink.... I then stamped hearts using my Versa mark ink pad, the stamps i used are from the lovely 'Hearts a Flutter' set from the new spring and summer mini... i then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder and my heat tool... I then brayered all over my background again using the Raspberry Ripple ink... once i was happy with my coverage i then buffed up my embossed areas with kitchen roll... this is the first time ive used this technique but i like the effect it gives of revealing the pattern / script through the embossed areas only ..

Ive added a Doilie - cut from the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits to place my hearts on... I do love these Doilies and have a lovely card to show you wednesday using them again...

To finish off my card i added hearts from the Hearts a flutter set, with hearts punched from the silver glimmer card, Crochet Trim, a flower cut from the SU flower trim, My Ticket sentiment is stamped from the 'Thats the Ticket' stamp set, again from the Spring and Summer Seasonal Catalogue..

Heres what i used for my card

Very Vanilla and Raspberry Ripple ink and card stock, Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L*, Hearts a Flutter stamp set and Framelits Dies, Thats the ticket stamp set, Ticket Duo Punch, Heart Punch, Silver glimmer card, En Francais stamp, Crochet trim and Flower Trim..

Heres a peak at a card i made for a class i should of held in January but unfortunetly i had to cancel it due to that white stuff..!!! the design is actually easily adapted for a birthday card :)
