Stampin' Up! Christmas card making class

Last week I held my monthly card making class and we are busy making Christmas cards! each month the ladies make 8 cards, 4 designs, 2 of each,

Here are the cards everyone made with some sneak peaks of new products coming in the new Autumn and Winter Catalogue, apart from this card which uses the fab Woodgrain stamp set and the gorgeous boxwood wreaths

The card below uses the new Beautiful Blizzard, This stamp set was my immediate favorite and first on my wish list! it comes with a thinlit die which cuts these beautiful delicate snowflakes! the stamp set and die are available from Wednesday as a bundle saving you 10%

The next card uses the Merry Christmas to All bundle, with the All is Bright DSP, I cased this card from the catalogue with a couple of my own tweaks!

my 4th card uses Making Christmas Bright another top Stamp set on my list, It comes with a coordinating punch anything with a punch is a MUST for me... and if you buy the stamp set and punch as a bundle you save 10%

The little light bulbs are coloured with my Stampin' write markers in Real Red and Old Olive and topped with a little fine tip glue so each bulb has a shiny finish - almost 'glass' looking! it looks very effective, all the ladies loved the finish the fine tip glue made...

A card of Love

Hi Crafters, thank you for coming by today, Today i have played along with the CAS-ual Fridays challange, if you would like to play along too please click on the link below:

Heres the card Ive made to play along with the challenge:

I hope you like it... please feel free to leave me a comment.

I decided to keep my card very simple and have the letters as my main focal point, I love these letters there from the Stampin' Up! Broadsheet Alphabet set, I do love this set alot. The heart stamp Ive used to represent my 'o' is from the NEW Spring & Summer Seasonal Catalogue, Hearts a Flutter set which has a co-ordinating 'Framelits Dies' set to go with it, to save you time cutting out, and also saves you 15% if you buy both together.

Each of my letters were stamped and then punch out with the SU 'Postage Stamp' punch. such a versatile and handy punch. I love being able to design my own 'stamps'

What i used to make my card: White cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Ink, Postage Stamp Punch, Broadsheet Alphabet Stamp set, Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set.

I do think this card could look quite nice with a red card base and cream background... so heres what i did next:

What do you think???

Ive also dry embossed the background with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. This time ive cut the heart out with one of the Hearts a flutter Framelits dies. I think i may prefer this one???

Heres what ive used: Very Vanilla cardstock, Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Ink, Postage Stamp Punch, Broadsheet Alphabet Stamp set, Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set and Framelits Dies. Perfect Polka Dot Embossing folder.

Interested in any supplies i have used today?? Interested in earning FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp sets? please dont hesitate me for more details or to place an order, call me on 01842 828643 or email me on laura@mycreativeideas.co.uk I'd be delighted to help you, thank you for coming by today..
