Stampin' Up! - Hello Summer Journal 2021

 Making a Hello Summer Journal

Hey crafty Friends, recently
Sara Douglass Stampin' Up!'s CEO
shared a fab Summer Journal, as soon as I saw her video
I thought I could make that and actually do that,
I'm not a scrapbooker at all, But love the idea
of this informal way of memory keeping!

I set to find a Kraft Journal
and found a perfect one on Amazon
link for that HERE

Summer Journal

I kept my journal pretty much like Sara's as i loved
it, I did add a few of my own little elements

I added the Strawberries as an additional element
for my Summer here in the UK isnt summer
without yummy English Strawberries!! I also added one
of the Bumblebee Trinkets.

Summer Journal

My sun is created using the Picture This stitched circle dies
with a star die cut using the Stitched Stars Dies, I cut
the points off the star to add round the circle, to create
the Sun burst image!

The Hello is stamped in black ink
using the Biggest Wish Stamp set

and like Sara's my Summer is die cut using the
Playful Alphabet dies

I've used the Days to Remember Stamp set
to stamp the 20 21 and I shall definetly
be using it through my journal to add dates etc

I cant wait for my photos to arrive so I can
start my Summer 2021 Journal!

If you'd like to make your own journal
I've listed all the products I've used below

using Stampin' Up! products, you're currently with
me Laura Mackie a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from the UK

This month our theme for the hop is

I've enclosed the measurements too
if you'd like to give it ag go you can

Stampin up sweet strawberry

When I saw the Strawberry Shower gels from Body Shop
I had to buy some, and then I thought how
cute would a little box be to gift it in

I started with a sheet of Basic white cardstock
which I stamped the Strawberries randomly
over in Real Red Ink, and Old Olive ink for the stalks,

Once happy with the sheet I flicked the background
all over with my Real red Stampin' Blend, I love doing
this and it just takes away the stalk white background,

To make the box and lid you will need two
sheets of Real Red cardstock,

Lid
cardstock 14.2cm x 14.2cm
which is scored on all 4 sides at 2cm and 4cm

to make the box
cardstock 21cm x 25.5cm

then score
Landscape @ 6cm, 12cm, 18cm and 24cm
Score portrait @ 1.5cm and 17cm

to cut your Strawberry stamped sheet
you will need one piece for the lid @ 5.7cm x 5.7cm
and
for the sides 4 pieces @ 6cm x 15cm

I used the Label me Fancy punch to make
the little gift tag again stamped with
the Strawberry punch,

Stampin' Up! Sweet Strawberry Gift Bag and handmade Card

Welcome back today for a little more
Sweet Strawberry inspiration!

I love to co-ordinate my cards to my gift packaging
its always very well received by the recipient! the
recipient here being my Sister and my childrens

last Sunday and we always spoil her well my children do
I just make a card and pretty packaging! heheh!

I love the Stampin' Up! Playful Alphabet dies,
Their perfect if you like me love
to personalise your makes!

For the card I die cut the 'Aunty' in Poppy Parade cardstock,
and then Stamped the 'To an Incredible'
carefully from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp set,
as it stamps really to say 'To an Incredible Woman'
I just carefully inked it up so the
Woman didn't stamp! it turned out perfectly!

I also made this cute Gift Bag,
I was recently gifted a gift in a handmade gift bag
using 12x12 DSP, and set to creating my own,

The bag is a great size measuring 8" x 8"
the gusset  / thickness of the bag is almost 5"
so its a great sized bag!

I stamped the strawberries
randomly on a Basic White Cardstock,
I used Poppy Parade and Old Olive ink pads to stamp
the strawberries..

I didnt love how stark the White background looked
so flicked ink using my Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend
all over and love the finished effect it gave, it was
just what it needed ..

I made the tags to match and used the
Stampin' Up!Playful Alphabet dies again to die
cut the Aunty this time in Basic White cardstock
on Poppy Parade Cardstock
