As promised my swaps from Saturdays Stampin Up Regional Training event in Telford, i made 108 of these... a really random number i know....
The swap was really quite quick and easy to reproduce, the slowest part was tieing the twine around the butterflies body... the colourful butterfly is created using the babywipe and re-inker technique, basically you grap several baby wipes and place on a plate, then i stamp my image very lightly in black ink on the wipes so i can see where my ink needs to go... then with my reinkers i drop drops of ink randomly to create my own stamp pad.... isnt it a beautiful technique and perfect for butterflies plus many other images too....
heres a closer look -
and here is my name badge too, we are asked when the event is launched what we need to do... ie make Swaps and make our own Creative name badge -
My name badge was made using the Swallowtail stamp, with Papers from the gorgeous Epic Day set, my old favourite Pennant Punch and my Butterfly Embosslit...
