Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys Valentines handmade Card

Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys Valentines Card

Hey Crafty friends! thank you for coming by today

I hope your all well and keeping safe?

I'm back today to share another yep another card

using the Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys, Ok

so its getting bad I literally cant get enough of these

cute guys, I know I will be sad when this sweet set goes!

So this is the Valentines card I've made for my other half

SShhh Hopefully he doesn't see this! hehe

It incorporates two of my fav ever!

Stampin' Up! Colour Rich Razzleberry

and of course my fav little donkey!

Its such a simple card! but a cute one!

My cute Donkey is coloured in with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers

in the following colours

Granny Apple Green - Stem and leaf

Rich Razzleberry - flower head

Petal pink - Nose and inside ears

Smoky Slate - donkey

I cut a Thick Basic White cardbase

measuring 10" x 5" and scored it in half at 5"

then I've cut a layer of Oh So Ombre DSP

measuring 4" x 4"

Then finally another Basic White layer measuring

3 7/8th" x 3 7/8th"

This layer I die cut the scalloped heart from,

Heart Die is from the Be Mine Stitched Dies

I've then added an 'I' die cut using the Playful Alphabet Dies

and the 'You' from the Well Written dies!

both cut from the Rich Razzleberry 'Oh So Ombre' paper

Stampin' Up! Hey Girlfriend - Valentines card

Good Morning Crafty friends, Today I'm sharing a card with you all

to play along with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

I haven't played along with a challenge for sooooo long

so its fun to take part again! I always find a sketch perfect if

I'm struggling with inspiration!

Here is my take on the sketch

This is the Sketch,

I did opt for a square card measuring 5x5

and I really did twist the sketch! eek hope thats ok?!?!

I love this Stamp set, and knew straight away I needed it!

I had nothing like it in my stash.

I thought this girl making a heart with her hands was

perfect for a valentines day card, or even

a card to send well wishes to a friend that needs it!

'we all need that right now!'

I've used a Smoky Slate card base, which I've then stamped with

smoky slate ink, stamping randomly to create the background

The little heart stamp is from the Heartfelt Stamp set.

I've coloured the stamped image in with my

Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers,

in the following colours

Rococo Rose light and dark - dress, shoes

Soft Suede light and Dark - Hair

Light Petal Pink - skin

I made her cute polka dot top by just carefully

using the fine tip of the dark Rococo Rose Stampin' Blend,

and just randomly adding the dots all over her top.

I've used the Playful Alphabet dies from Stampin' Up!

for the LOVE die cut using the FREE Oh So Ombre papers,

and the 'You' is die cut using the Well Written Dies,

I added a few of the Woven Threads sequins in

Rococo Rose to finish my card!

Kre8tors Blog hop 'Love & Romance'

Welcome to this months Kre8tors blog hop,

we our a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world,

and your currently with me Laura Mackie from the UK.

This month our theme is 'Love & Romance' and heres my card

To make my card I've used the New Honey Bee stamp set and

co-ordinating Dies with the Hand-lettered Prose Dies to create the 'mine'

for a 'Bee' Mine card! hopefully my other half gets the pun with the bee! hehe

I created the watercoloured background with Lovely Lipstick,

Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride marker, a cello bag and a

spritzer filled with water onto watercoloured paper,

I created another piece large enough to die cut the 'mine from too.

Measurements:

Card base Lovely Lipstick - 21cm x 14.9cm, score in half @ 10.5cm

Basic Black layer 8.5cm x 12.9cm

Watercoloured paper 8.2cm x 12.6cm

Sentiment heat embossed in white powder onto Basic Black cardstock, and trimmed leaving enough room to add a bow, in Basic Black Bakers Twine.
