Have you all noticed at how popular and on trend currently the black board and chalk look is?? well when i saw this weeks challange over at CAS-ual Fridays was black and white plus 1… you all just know what i thought of straight away – yep you guessed it Chalk board technique..
if you would like to take part in the challenge click on the image below

There are several ways to create the technique..
1- stamp image using SU white craft ink (101731 @ £6.95)
2 – stamp image in white craft ink then heat emboss with white embossing powder
3 – stamp image in versamark ink then heat emboss with white powder.
i used option 3 for my card take a look:

Its quite popular to add a white border around the edge this can be done with a white gel pen, i opted to pierce all round my edges. To give the look of a real chalk board i gently sponged around the edges with white craft ink, over my sentiment and around my punched out flower…

Ive also flicked white embossing powder over my card then heated the card from behind..

So my plus 1 was Pink… i just love Melon Mambo and black together…
