a Union Jack thank youu...

Todays card I'm sharing with you is one i made several weeks ago, I made it for my friend i stayed with in America, I left it on her kitchen counter just before she took me to the airport, she found it when she returned..

My friend is British so the card had to be patriotic...

Inside the card I stuck a talkin tag... She thought it was awesome... Talkin tags are great for enclosing a personal greeting which is playable via a iPhone or android phone app...

What I used:

Stamp - one in a million

Card stock and ink - white card stock, and night of navy ink

embellishments - ribbon from my stash, real red taffeta , small soda pop top and vintage faceted button, white bakers twine.

Elephants sorry

Happy Sunday... 

I'm sorry Ive lacked on blog updates since Wednesday... I haven't stopped :( but I'm back in blog land again, and pleasantly surprised to see a few of my cards have been picked as favourites in challenges happy days... Today I'm off with my lil sis and mum to a wedding fayre, but before I leave I thought I'd share this card with you...

I've coloured the cute elephant with my SU markers, the leaf DSP is from sycamore street again as part of this years sale a Bration, which ends on 23rd march.

My sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes.... The little flowers are punched from one of the flowers in the Itty bitty 3 pack set.

A flutter of Butterflies

 

What is going on with the weather?!?!?! we get all excited that summer has finally arrived and then… RAIN again!!!

So I woke up to glorious sunshine.. and now its raining, I had plans of cutting the grass a spot of weeding, but instead I’m inside crafting oh well hey!! tehehehe.. we all know what I’d rather be doing really…. specially as Im back to work tomorrow, so blogging may be come some what sparse, but Im going to try to keep active on here and of course completing Challenges, well as much as possible, I’ve really enjoyed posting daily.. and i hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my creations.. Thank you to all who have commented on posts.. its really lovely to hear peoples thoughts on my work.. Thank you muchly..

The Background is stamped using re-inkers and baby wipes, with the ‘All a Flutter’ Stamp available for £5.95 such a detailed stamp producing a stunning image.

I just love these colours together, Ive finished the Butterflies with diamantes and pearls..
