Stampin’ Up! Regional training Telford 2014

Saturday i spent the day with fellow demonstrators in Telford for our annual Stampin’ Up! regional training event, we had an amazing day learning about what is coming in the new 2014/2015 Annual Catalogue,

As usual we all made swaps, heres my swap..

image

Ive used the Stampin’ Up! Postcard stamp, to create the multi coloured background i made my own ink pad using baby wipes and re-inkers, then using a clear block as my stamp, stamped onto my base, then stamped over the top using the floral corner stamp from the So very Grateful stamp set..

image

The light gold dictionary text was added my lightly dabbing gold ink on to my stamp then rubbing the cardstock lightly onto the stamp, this way you only get image / text where you want it..

I made 60 of these, my sentiment stamp is from the really good greeting stamp set

image

I could resist toping my swap off with a butterfly..

I made the cracker using my Envelope punch board, the cracker is made using Modern medley csp, I topped the cracker with a flower made from my Floral Frame Framelits… and a tag made from the Chalk Talk stamp set

fancy silhouette

Happy Monday bloggers I'm very happy for a Monday as i have this week off to spend with my son... We're not going away just having days out.... So its time for another make my Monday challenge and this week is

                                                                    SILHOUETTES

Heres my card.... It's a super quick card made this morning

To make the coloured background i inked up my clear block using my SU markers, then spritzed it with alcohol to merge the colours - so quick but effective Ive used all 5 2013/2014 in colours ....

I made my black silhouette flower from black card stock, bird punch for my leaves and also my fancy flower punch... I couldn't resist adding the button to the centre of my flower to fancy it up...

Heres a closer look at my flower...

My sentiment is from the really good greetings SU stamp set...

I can't wait to see what you all make this week...

I'm also entering my card into the following challenge :

What I've used:
Stamps - really good greetings
Punch - bird and fancy flower
Ink - all ink colours
