I spent Saturday with my lovely man hunting the shops for a swimming pool which was very unsuccessful :( then we went and spent the evening with my parents and had a lovely meal by the river... Yesterday we went to Hunstanton we had such a wonderful day walking along the beach, playing in the amusements... And of course eating fish and chips... Well back to Todays Make my Monday challenge - paper piercing Heres my card...

first birthday invites

I thought I'd share with you today the birthday invites i made for my nieces up and coming 1st birthday... They used the spring sampler stamp set with the sunshine and sprinkles DSP...

I've used a mix of melon mambo, daffodil delight and lucky limeade with whisper white...
  

The you're invited stamp is from the Oh Hello stamp set...

I also used several punches - 1" square punch, postage punch and curly label punch.

Had to make a few.... 50 odd!!!

Racing themed party

 Its a BOY.... We are a very proud country right now.... Congratulations William and Kate on the birth of you blue bundle.... And maybe one day their little boy will want a racing themed party... ?!? well maybe boys will be boys hey....



So here are the photos i promised you from my sons 8th Birthday party that i planed and put together all themed around ‘racing’…..
my ‘Start’ table for presents… before… man i wish i had an after pic as the table was FULL – crazy full he was totally spoilt by his friends and family…

I made all the signs with the help of my lovely partner… using lining paper, black paint and my cardboard fabric tubes….


here are the table decorations i made using  trophys from Poundland… table either had these or balloons….

This was my Pitstop – a drinks ‘Re fuel’ table….

heres his fab cake made by my very clever friend….

photo inspiration challenge

Eek Monday again... I know. I know...  I hope yoy all had a lovely weekend.... Saturday I crafted for most of the day and then in the evening we went to Weeting Country Fair and Steam Rally where we went on some very fast fair rides and boy did I feel sick!! and old!!... Yesterday we went Go-Karting and then back to Weeting to see some more of the country Fair, and while we were there me and my son were lucky enough to ride on the back of a Goldwing... I hope you all did something fun... but back to work for me today but first ... It's time for another challenge over at make my Monday and this weeks challenge is photo inspiration and Heres my card inspired by the photo.... a small thank you...

Happy Saturday crafters... I hope the sun is shining where you are, I'm going to have such a chilled day after a hectic weekend last week... I plan on crafting to my hearts content, I have thank you cards to make and some cute vintage teapot invites to make for a friend ill share them with you next week with lots of party inspired posts with pics from my sons racing themed party...

Hearts a flutter Engagement

Yey its Friday.... This week has gone pretty quick for me as ive been busy with my day job, but I've been making time for some relaxing and crafting of an evening.... Heres what I made last night, an Engagement card for my sons teacher...

I do like making pretty cards.... And hearts a flutter stamp set is totally pretty - girlie and all about love which was perfect for this card.... 

I just LOVE the new in colour ruffled ribbon and boutique detail embellishments... Available in all 5 in colours isn't it pretty - i need to play with this more...

I've used a colour combo of strawberry slush with pistachio pudding... Isn't it fab??!! 

My sentiment is stamped from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set, and then cut out with a Framelit from the hearts a flutter Framelit set...

flower shop swaps

  Here are the swaps i made for a recent training event i attended, I made a total of 40 and in exchange received some gorgeous swaps ...

I used all 5 new in colours, with very vanilla ... My fav in colour is still baked brown sugar though...

happy 8th Birthday

  Well after a crazy week or so I'm feeling that things are steadying slowly and have made time this morning to share with you some of my creations for my sons 8th birthday.... The theme of his party was racing and I saw a card on Pintrest which was perfect so made my own adapted version of it...

It uses the new label love stamp set and memorable moments, with letters cut from the alphabet Bigz dies all Stampin up..

I added crystal affects to the son letters to glossy them up...
