A ‘Mixed Bunch’ of Thanks

 

Good Morning Lovely Crafters… Its Sunday and the sun in sunday is not too be seen today, but still set for a lovely day with the family for a roast (mmmmm cant beat mummys roast!!) and seeing my lil niece Amelia for snuggles. Thougt id share with you today the card i made for the Colour Q challenge 154.

To start with i want to sure on the colours… but after laying them together and having a play around with some stamps, I was soon convinced at how lovely they can look… take a look at my card:

Ive used the ‘rock n roll’ technique on the flower to create a light flower with the darker egdes, i was really pleased with how it turned out! heres a closer look:

I felt the backgraound looked to white so added the cute little splodges from French Foliage.. think there chesnuts really, but i love that stamp for filling in..

Freshly Made Sketch Challenge #47

Here's my card I have entered:

Again I've used my favourite Papers- Twitterpated they end soon… Check out the link to the right ‘Summer Mini’ to see what goes on the 31st August.

I've punched 3 of the Blossom Flowers to give my flower dimension, I’ve added a  clear rhinestone brad to the centre of my flower to finish it off and of course add some sparkle..!

The Sentiment is stamped in Riding Hood Red ink (which features on the DSP) using a sentiment from the Sincere Salutations stamp set, available ,  - in wood mount for £21.95 for 8 lovely stamps for all occasions.

Sweet Strawberries

Oooooo!!! another day and another 2 challenges… I keep finding these challenges its going to end up like a full time job!! Today is my last day off back to work Monday, this week really has flown its been lovely spending time with my son, we had a day out with my sister on Wednesday which was lovely and long over due.. hopefully we will have more now she is on Maternity Leave..
Today I have combined 1 card for 2 challenges,
Challenge 1 is over at Colour Q heres the challenge:

The papers I found in my stash are from the retired set Berry Blossoms, and contain the colours: Lucky Limeade and Poppy Parade.
Challenge 2 is from Mojo Monday:


Here’s My card:

I really love these colours so bright and cheery, I really enjoyed using these colours and putting them together with the layout.

The sentiment is from the SU ‘You're Cherished’ set which is £7.95 for 2 stamps.

I added Lucky Limeade Bakers twine through the button available from SU.

Pretty in pink

 

I’m so into these challenges now (if you hadn’t guessed!?!?)… I cant help myself there soooo addictive, although I really do need to peel myself away from them so i can prep for my demonstration on Saturday..

Challenge 14 – Photo Inspiration from stampin’ for the weekend

This is the photo:

I love the picture as soon as I saw it i knew i had to enter as for me it had ‘Twitterpated’ all over it, Twitterpated is a stunning collection of designer series papers from Stampin’ Up, only available until 31st August, a pack of 12 sheets of double sided 12x12 paper is £9.95, it also comes with a range of coordinating plain card stock, inks, Buttons, Pleated ribbons and gorgeous fabrics.

This is the card I made for the challenge:

The green ruched edge down the left side of the card is made using the lace ribbon border punch available for £18.25.

As you can see I’ve used a selection of the Twitterpated papers, along side some of the Blushing bride pleated ribbon.

The Sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes SU stamp set available in wood mount for £32.95  which includes 24 Stamps,

The flower is made using the Blossom Punch, available from SU for £15.50, the leaves are made using the SU Sizzlit Die Little Leaves which costs £4.95.
