Ive used the ‘rock n roll’ technique on the flower to create a light flower with the darker egdes, i was really pleased with how it turned out! heres a closer look:

Autumn Accents

Hello Crafters and Stampers from where ever you are in the world..

So I havent done many challenges lately so i thought tonight i would make the time to complete one.. and Ive done it well not just one either ive completed 2 challenges with one card…

The first challenge is over at CAS-ual Fridays where this weeks challenge is Embossing.. either Dry, heat or a combination of both. The second challenge is over at Less is More where this weeks challenge is ‘Foliage’ and the first thing that i thought of was my SU French Foliage stamp set.. a stunning set which i love using such a great set which comes in very handy

heres my card:

I masked off a section at the bottom of the card and randomly stamped my leaves in different colours, then on my score board Ive  embossed lines top and below the border.

With my lovely new Autumn Accents Bigz Die I’ve cut using the big shot 3 leaves in different colour card stock, 1 of which i embossed with the new Woodgrain Textured embossing folder, available from Stampin Up! for £7.50. the second i screw up in my hands and the third i rolled round one of my tools to give it a raised look.

between the leaves Ive ruched some of the gorgeous new Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (which i cant keep my hands off!!) I’ve used a roll already and it was only launched in the Autumn and Winter Cattie on the 1st of September its available in 3 colours, here i used Cherry Cobbler. its great value a 9.1mtr roll is only £6.25, (also available in Early Espresso and Crumb cake)

Products used: French Foliage and Petite Pairs Stamp Sets. Pumpkin pie, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso Ink, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card Stock, Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Autumn Accents Bigz Die.
