Make my monday ‘Monochrome’


Morning Crafters Happy Monday to you all… So today is the start of a new Challenge over at Make my Monday todays challenge is:
MONOCHROME
Heres my card:
Monochrome
A Masculine card too hey! I fancied a change from my normal girlie cards… I always struggle with mens / boys cards so set myself the challenge..
Heres a closer look:

The paper i used is from the new collection in the Spring and Summer Catalogue – Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP (12 double sided sheets of 12x12 DSP, £9.95 – 126922) and it is packed full of spring colours and also this Monochrome sheet of blues…

My Friend Madison

Thank you for coming by today.... 

Hope your week is going well?? My son has been with his dad until last night, so today im working a half day then Im going to enjoy spending some qualitity time with him... which knowing him he'll want to do 'making' Mummy wont argue with that lol....

Todays card im showing you is for a Challenge over at Inkspirational I was introduced to there challenges last week if you would likt to play along too click on the link below...

First off when i saw the colours red and green i thought Christmas card... and why not?? its never to early to start making them in my book... then I saw my Madison Avenue stamp set, (a FREE stamp set during Sale-a-Bration) and then this little card came together...

Ive used Lucky Limeade and Real Red ink, with Whisper white and Read Red card stock, 


Heres what i used to make my card:
Stamps - Madison Avenue (FREE with a £45 order during sale-a-bration), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Punched - Itty Bitty Punch, Modern Label and Word Window.
Ink - Read Red and Lucky Limeade
Card stock - Real Red and Whisper White
Embellishments - Basic rhinestones and white satin ribbon (retired).

A ‘Mixed Bunch’ of Thanks

 

Good Morning Lovely Crafters… Its Sunday and the sun in sunday is not too be seen today, but still set for a lovely day with the family for a roast (mmmmm cant beat mummys roast!!) and seeing my lil niece Amelia for snuggles. Thougt id share with you today the card i made for the Colour Q challenge 154.

To start with i want to sure on the colours… but after laying them together and having a play around with some stamps, I was soon convinced at how lovely they can look… take a look at my card:

Ive used the ‘rock n roll’ technique on the flower to create a light flower with the darker egdes, i was really pleased with how it turned out! heres a closer look:

I felt the backgraound looked to white so added the cute little splodges from French Foliage.. think there chesnuts really, but i love that stamp for filling in..

Hope you like my card.. heres a list of the supplies Ive used:

Motorcycle farewell

 

So I couldnt put this one in the box either without a little play… The Motorcyle wood mount stamp is retiring too…

With a male friends birthday a day away i thought perfect stamp for him specially as he’s a petrol head hehehe!!

I stamped the bike and then with my ink and blender pen carefully coloured it in, not my favourite colouring in… but i tried to give the bike shadows and dimension.. can you see???

The striped paper is from the new paper stack in the Autumn and winter Catalogue, page 20, its called Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack and you get 48 sheets of double sided sheets. There are some stunning papers and there not well i dont think just Christmassy.. The papers are 11.4 x 16.5cm so perfect for C6 or A6 cards.

My Sentiment is stamped on the Word window, from the Teeny Tiny wished Stamp set then mounted on to a Modern label punched in Early Espresso ink.

Cute little ‘Cup of Thanks’

 

How lovely is the weather!!?? better make the most of it as they say it isn’t going to last… our we surprised??? So I came across another little challenge over a Cas-ual Fridays, this weeks challenge is ‘Square Cards’

 Here is the card I submitted for the challenge:

I’ve used my ‘Stamp-a-ma-jig’ to position my little tea cups, so they look stacked, The tea cups come from the SU ‘Tea Shoppe’ Stamp set available in either wood mount @ £30.95  or clear mount @ £24.95 for a set of 10 stamps. This set is from the Summer Mini which ends of the 31st August.

I’ve used my scoreboard to create a diagonal raised embossed background, to me it almost looks like a quilted finish…

Supplies used: White Card Stock, Calypso Coral card stock, Calypso Coral ink, Lucky limeade Ink, Island Indigo Ink and Wisteria Wonder ink. Modern label and word window Punches, clear diamantes, Simply scored Scoring tool ad the Diagonal Plate.
