Stampin’ Up Cherish the Moments

 

Happy Tuesday – Its back to normal today for us after the Christmas Holidays, My son is back to school and Im back to the day job…

Today ive joined in with 2 challenges 1 over at http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/ where there challenge is Winter Blues – and boy am i feeling those roll on Spring!!

and the other Challenge is with http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.co.uk/ there challenge is ‘Word’  - a word that you hope or want the year to bring a bit like a resolution – i choose ‘Cherish the Moments’ just because i feel sometimes life ends up so fast past in my world that i forget to0 or we dont do enough to create those special moments

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Girl card

Yesterday i shared with you a boy birthday card so today i thought id share with you a female birthday card – The card is made by heat embossing the sentiment in clear or white powder i used clear.. I then used my blender pen with my in-colour ink pads to colour across the sentiment to reveal it… I saw the idea on Pinterest

The Sentiment comes from the Apothary Art stamp set teamed with the ‘youre the best’ stamp from Hello, Lovely stamp set

Swallowtail 'Thanks'



Good Morning lovely crafters... Im feeling very chirpy today, I cant tell you all why just yet but all will be told very soon so watch this space.....

So i thought today i'd show you more of what ive been doing with the gorgeous 'Swallowtail' Stamp, Which is available from the spring and summer cattie. Available in eithe wood or clear mount too, £12.95 for clear or £15.95 for wood.

So heres my card... again using the Chalkboard technique, 
to create my chalkboard effect - i used versamark ink and white embossing powder, then inked edges and around my butterfly using white craft ink....

Ive used tags from the Stampin up set - Tiny Tags, the tags are punched using the coordinating tag punch also available from stampin up... isnt the button gorgeous... its from the Vintage Faceted Designer button collection, a stunning collection of 24 buttons for a great price of £4.50. and not forgetting the linen thread.. i love this stuff it finishes off so many projects perfectly... available from SU for £3.95 for a 13.70mtr roll...

White embossing power and Versamark ink, White craft ink

Starfruit swallowtail

happy Monday crafters... Comes round way to,quick doesn't it :( ....
I had a play yesterday with a new stamp... It's from the Stampin up spring and summer catalogue... And it the single stamp swallowtail.... Take a look...



  
I had a play with the stamp, experimenting with different techniques, and then came across the challenge below... So then made another card with my new favourite stamp...


Have a closer look... 


I stamped the image with summer Starfruit, on to very vanilla card stock, 


I couldn't resist using a piece of the sycamore street DSP, its from a free pack of paper available with a £45 order during sale a Bration only, 

What I've used

Bloomin' Happy Easter

Hi Crafters... 

Ive been having a play with my bird punch again... i started off making little chicks, then i started making flowers.... take a look

Todays card fits in rather well with two challenges one over at Less is More... link below and the other at Casology link below







Ive used 3 of the birds wings to make a tulip... and then the birds branch stem to make the stem for the tulip...

heres a closer look


Ive punched a 2 1/2" circle paper pierced the edges and added my flowers on to it, Ive tied the bunch of tulips with a piece of white bakers twine...


See the sentiment... Ive used the Happy Easter stamp from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and the Bloomin' from the Sale-a-Bration set Bloomin' Marvelous - get it flowers bloom - bloomin Easter ... 


What ive used
